IMAGES FROM THE SURFACE OF THE EARTH

Since the late 1980s, Finn Larsen has been working with topographic photography in projects that focus on specific locations and follow them over decades.

Topographic photography is a tradition that is interested in the unremarkable landscapes of everyday life and how they are transformed through the interplay of culture and nature.

It is about the infinitely varied commonality, the landscapes of real stories that are the result of actions and lives being lived.

The series TOPOGRAPHY is based on these projects.

Topography 3 - DUMPEN focuses on waste in Greenland.

Finn Larsen first visited Greenland in 1991 and has since worked in the country for more than two years in total.
